Yung Star

Born on August 27, 1990, in Carson, California, De'Juan "Yung Star" Parrish began his career at the age of 11 training his self how to be a sound engineer. As time progressed, Yung Star realized not only did he want to be a sound engineer/producer but a performer as well. So never have taken a days worth of vocal lessons, Yung Star began training himself how to better sing and started recording his own music. From then the young artist went on to create a independent label called 310 Records. Trying to guarantee his career in music and to widen exposure, Yung Star then trained himself all other fields related to music and took whatever courses were offered at his high school. Soon after, Yung Star dispersed 310 Records and created a company not only focused on music but also multiple forms of media called Yung Starz Entertainment.

Ready to take the company & his skills to new heights, Yung Star gained digital distribution, publishing, copyrighted names, legal contracts, bank accounts and much more for the business. As for himself he began piano lesson, trained his voice, and gained a full ride scholarship in audio production to the Art Institute of California to better himself as a sound engineer & a businessman. After this he began to create Phaze I's album, "The Beginning" which was released in May of 2009. 3 months later Yung Star released his debut album, titled "Destiny of a Yung Star". The album recieved a 5 star rating on iTunes and brought many new fans & opportunities. Outside of running his label, Yung Star works as a Mixng Engineer for a commercial recording studio in Inglewood, California. To this date, Yung Star still hasn't a so much as a minutes worth of vocal lessons and of the many years since his start in 2001, Yung Star has only had the 3 years of training as an engineer at AI. Yung Star is self-motivated and determinded to reach all goals. If he wants it and doesn't know how, he will figure out how.
